Gary "Sweeps" Woods is a recurring character in the first and second and third seasons of the comedy drama series The Bear. He works at The Original Beef of Chicagoland. He is portrayed by Corey Hendrix.
Background[]
Sweeps played baseball when he was younger and even tried out for the Chicago Cubs. While playing on the farm team, they didn't pay for his housing and he was homeless.
Personality[]
Gary is a fairly easy going man who is amicable with all his colleagues. He also appears to be fairly tactile, easily giving physical affection such as a brush of shoulders or a pat on the back.

Gary is a man in his thirties with dark brown skin and brown eyes. He has black hair that he keeps cropped short and a well kept beard. He always wears patterned t-shirts under his apron and fitted jeans.
