Nancy Chore is a guest character in the first season of the comedy drama series The Bear. She is a health inspector assigned to The Original Beef of Chicagoland after her business partner died. She is portrayed by Amy Morton.

She and her business partner Joe work for the Chicago Board of Health, and up until Joe's death, he was the inspector for The Original Beef of Chicagoland. After his death Nancy took on his usual businesses.

Nancy is a middle aged woman with white skin and brown eyes. She has greying hair that she keeps in a straight bob cut, and dresses professionally in button down shirts and slacks.

Season 1[]
In "Hands",
Nancy goes to inspect The Original Beef of Chicagoland, but isn't believed by Richie upon her arrival. Richie is still expecting Joe and asks to see her identification, which she pulls out to show him and Carmy. She explains that Joe has died and Richie introduces Carmy as the owner's brother, who is also dead. Nancy says that Carmy doesn't look dead and Carmy explains that his brother was the owner, but he died. They exchange apologies for each other's losses and Carmy tells her to let him know if she needs anything. Richie warns Nancy that he will be keeping an eye on her while she's there.
