Pete is a recurring character in the first, second and third seasons of the comedy drama series The Bear. He is married to Natalie Berzatto but has a contentious relationship with her family. He is portrayed by Chris Witaske.

Background[]

Pete met and married Natalie Berzatto and consistently tries to fit in with her family, despite their(except Carmen Berzatto obvious distaste for him.

Personality[]

Pete appears to have a friendly personality and often tries to get along with Richie, Carmy, and Cicero. However, they seem to find him rather annoying, especially Cicero and Richie. Overall he is a very nice person and doesn’t seem to have problems with anyone. He goes as far as to help Carmy and Richie when Natalie, his wife, is mad at Carmy. He also seems to tolerate significant abuse from the rest of the family, both physical and verbal, and doesn't think much of it. He hints at needing to visit an Urgent Care clinic after an encounter with Carmy.

Physical Description[]

Pete has a fairly tall build and has dark hair which he keeps at a short to medium length. He has a mole on his upper cheek, right next to his nose. And another closer to his jaw. He also appears to have a dimple on his chin. He has a beard which he keeps at a fairly short length.

Season 1[]

Pete is Natalie's husband, but her family isn't a huge fan of him.

Season 2[]

In a flashback, Pete brings a tuna casserole to Donna's Seven Fishes dinner. Everyone asks Pete what he was thinking and Natalie throws it outside.

At the end of Season 2, Pete sees Donna outside the restaurant, but she refuses to go in. He accidentally reveals Natalie's pregnancy to her.
