Season 3 of the FX comedy drama series The Bear was released on June 26, 2024,[1] on Hulu and internationally on Disney+. There are ten episodes in the season.
Plot[]
Season three of FX’s The Bear follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu, and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich as they do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand turned fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business. It’s a losing battle every single day in the restaurant business. Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.
Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together. As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role. In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities. Our chefs have learned that every second counts, but this season we’ll find out if they have what it takes to make it to tomorrow.

Trivia[]
- The Bear was renewed for a third season in November 2023. The season premiered on June 27, 2024.
- The production title for this season was Kubelik, which was used to help keep away big crowds during filming. The namesake is after the late Rafael Kubelík, who was the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s music director from 1950 to 1953. Kubelik, which is Czech, translates to “bucket.”[3][4][5]
- Going forward, the series will use Windy City Law as a codename for filming.[3]
- The season was originally set to debut on June 27, but all 10 episodes of the season premiered on June 26, 2024 on Hulu at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.[1]
- The season was also dropped internationally in territories including the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Gibraltar, the Balkans, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Egypt, and select countries in the Middle East at the same time.[1]
- The third season premiere garnered 5.4 million views in its first four days of streaming. The Bear Season 3 is not only the best views ever for an FX premiere on Hulu, but the most-watched season premiere for any scripted series on Hulu. It saw an uptick of 24% more views than the Season 2 premiere achieved in the same amount of time. These views came from Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, also making it the biggest Hulu on Disney+ premiere since the bundle launched.[6]
- Season 3 was nominated for 23 Emmy's at the 2024 Emmy Awards for a comedy show, breaking the previously set record of 22 nominations held by NBC’s “30 Rock” since 2009.[7][8]
